Novaptus Systems, Incorporated has developed analysis tools that can be applied to the scanned images.

These tools include multi-dimensional measurement comparisons between the pre-op and post-op scans. This unique analysis capability is important in that many of the measurements extracted by the Novaptus Systems' custom measurement profiles cannot be replicated accurately using conventional anthropometric  techniques. 

Periodic post-op scan measurement comparisons are updated in the digital archive. Multiple periodic post-op scan measurement comparisons are further analyzed to show trends in surgical recovery or patient progress.

Many measurements are only available using the extraction parameters available within the scanner software. These unique measurements can offer valuable insight into patient physical body changes.

Volumetric and surface area calculations can also be produced. The results of these calculations help verify medical reports indicating the amount of tissue removed or added. Periodic volume calculations based on repeated post-op scans yield important trends as to the direction of progress related to the patient's body habitus.
